  1. I am a big supporter of natural products that are grown and harvested, like you have mentioned in your post, in a responsible and sustainable manor. This in my opinion is one of the top ways that we as consumers should be focusing on to reduce our environmental impact and the resulting micro plastics that are entering our environment through cosmetics.

    Is this sponge grown in a farm environment or is this harvest in natural occurring environments in the ocean?

    • Hello Richard, I’m with you – we as a species must consider our impact on the environment. I believe one reason why we seem to put it off is that the impacts of our actions are not immediately felt by us. Our culture has to shift and teach people to become more mindful of our choices. 

      In response to your question, I believe the Konjac plant is farmed in Japan. It was actually introduced to Japan from China. For more info click here.

  4. this is for anyone that want to really take care of there skin in nice manner skin should be taken care of. 

    konjac sponge is really a good sponge on the skin. And there are many advantage i think many will get from using this sponge which are the  longer you use the konjac sponge, the better your skin would look. Konjac sponges are gentler than scrubs, so they’re ideal for daily exfoliating and it also good for sensitive skin like mine.this is my first time of reading an article on it but I have been hearing about it for sometimes in my neighborhood

  5. Japanese people are nature lovers. they have a very good disciplined healthy life style. in every aspect they accept natures gifts. they want to move close to nature. I was very happy to learn about konjac sponge. The soaps, dish wash, detergents we use in our daily life are very harsh on skin. konjac sponge might be given a try. They show so many ads on tv. but they are all chemicals and harsh to children. this kind of products can be encouraged for our babies.
